Anyone know if you can buy a wheel nut/washer to fit an original Dunlop D1, will any of the current Minilite/Minilight/Rosepetal sleeve nuts fit ?

It's probably the ones they use for the Minilife , checked one this afty with the shamfered washer inverted and it fitted OK but the sleeve wasn't exactly a tight fit in the wheel.

I think these are the ones you need. I got some a few years ago but I can't remember where from, all I do remember is the diameter of the sleave was different to the ones for revolution wheels.

Speaking about D1s, does anybody know when they where first issued?

I have manage to built up a set over the years but in 3 different colours : gold, black and silver.
Had the non black a respray ?

Who sell the best centre stickers?

I think they came out in about 1967. Nick from Minibitz Sheffield does some very good replica centre stickers, see the link in the 'recommended' section. Luckily I picked up a set of brand new old stock D1's for my W&P, a much under utilised wheel nowadays and used on many a race/rally car in period contrary to popular belief.

They're good and delivery is quick. They also do loads of other repro stickers and stuff.

Yes it is, since changing from drums to discs it is now on s off-set Minilifes. The Dunlops are now on my '93 Sprite.

The Minilifes are a very nice wheel. Much nicer than the D1s I used to run.
