Hello everyone

I had to disconnect the hose form the outake of the fuel tank and therefore the fuel is not running to the carburator. Gotta say that I have a fuel filter right before the fuel pump.

Could anyone tell me wich is the best way to reboot the flow of the fuel to normal cuase right now the car does not start.

thanx

From my limited experience I would not recommend putting a normal fuel filter prior to the pump.

There are specific pre pump filters that have a coarser media that keep out the larger particles (similar to the ones in the bottom of the tanks) which allow full flow to the pump.

If you have an electric pump it should self prime with the key on, as long as the pump gets a good supply of fuel

If you have a mechanical pump, you can fill the fuel bowl manually and run the engine to get the pump working. If that doesn’t work you can back fill both sides of the pump with fuel to eliminate any air
