Clubman bonnet panel gaps.

Can anyone give me an idea of the factory typical gap between wing and bonnet for the 1275GT/ Clubman. As mention in my project thread I’m struggling to get a reasonable gap but if the gap was wide by design then I’m probably wasting a lot of effort. All help greatly appreciated.

Hmm. Thanks. That’s a challenge.

I have checked my mum's super original unrestored 1970 Clubman and the gaps between bonnet and wings are 4mm. The gap along the scuttle is slightly wider in the centre than at the edges.

God bless you for your diligence in the cause of minis. Pass on my regards to your mum and congratulate her on having such an important car.
