Hanging Doors alone.

We've all been there where we need a helping hand, but there's no one around. I'm at the stage of restoration where the doors will be on and off several times in a short period and I'm always working solo. This facilitates installation of the hinges while holding the door safely in place.

Very clever. Perhaps leave them on permanently and have gull-wing doors ?

Great idea. I have always made do with varying thicknesses of compressible foam on the sill.

Nice idea... I have no idea why that car needs them-the door fit and all the rest of the body panels are absolutely perfect!

Thanks Gary. I was fortunate to find a car with "strong bones" above the floors, but the floors were rotten. So still a lot of work to this point. The car still retains the original outer sills.
