Quick rack or not?

Need to get a new steering rack for my GT.
What is the general thought on a Quick rack for a road car, yes or no?

my experiences are that steering can be a bit twitchy with quick rack in a road car..a situation that i got used to & thereafter was not an issue.

I find no issues in a road car
As modern cars/daily drives have changed a tad over the years
I do not notice that I have quick rack fitted

I bought one when I was a yoof as it was a go-faster bit that was obviously essential.
Decent in a straight line, horrible going backwards and I never really got used to it.
It's still in the shed having taken it off the Elf in '2004.
