2022 Can-Am Mini Challenge
I heard the 2022 Can-Am Mini Challenge will be at Road Atlanta. Dates are October 13-16th, 2022. Can’t find much detail other than that. Anyone else have more insight on this event?

Re: 2022 Can-Am Mini Challenge
For those Mini racers interested, here is a quick summary of the Can-Am Mini Challenge:
Plans are underway for the next Can-Am Mini Challenge event, which will be sanctioned by Historic Sportscar Racing and held in conjunction with the HSR Fall Historics at Road Atlanta, GA October 13th – 16th, 2022. The event will pay tribute to Ed Spreen’s C-Sedan championship win in 1970, with the feature race held in his honor, the “Ed Spreen Cup Race”. Ed’s Mini will be racing and many members of his family and friends will be in attendance. A-Series powered Classic Minis with competition logbooks are eligible, and there will be four separate classifications to accommodate performance from small bore D-Sedans to GT5. Trophies will be offered for first through third place in each class, as well as first through third overall. Classification structure will be announced on or before March 31st, 2022. Drivers must have current competition license (FIA/SCCA/VMC, etc.) and valid medical. Road Atlanta is a fast, challenging track therefore novice drivers will not be accepted. Minis will have their own run group and reserved paddock area. The schedule will offer an optional test day on Thursday, Friday practice/qualify, and racing Saturday and Sunday. Additional track time if desired is available for cars that meet HSR class preparation rules in the regular classes. There will be a full complement of custom event swag including regalia, posters, and event decals (complementary to each driver), car corrals & parade laps for street cars, banquet at the track, and many other activities during the event. Questions regarding car eligibility and driver licensing may be directed to Mike Kearney mikeK@7ent.com and general event questions to Rachel Nelson arperformance@hotmail.com
Race entry information will be available soon on the official HSR website: https://hsrrace.com/fallhistorics2022/
