Oil pump recommendations

Just finishing a 998 Cooper engine build. The new oil pumps I have from Minispares tolerances and finish seem pretty poor. Might be bad luck on my part but made me wonder what other folks are using?
I know they do an Evolution pump but that seems a lot of money for this application. I really only want a standard pump which has decent tolerances. Any links or suggestions appreciated
Cheers
Mark

For standard builds I only ever use original (NOS) Concentric pumps in my 850, 998 and S engines.
Never had a problem with them.

Had just received a Minispares A+ drive small bore oil pump, as usual opened it for clearance check, all clearance measured seems fine, but have not try a pin drive pump, so in my case this price (GBP14 GLP139 )is fair enough and no need to spend triple money if only a road engine is rebuild!

Have used the Swifty fancypants pump, the Minispares fancypants version & a "normal" Turbo pump in recent years all have been perfectly OK. No issues at all. Still going strong with lots of hard running.
