Hi everyone, I'm new to this site but not new to classic cars. I currently own 2 Morris Marinas, one of which I have owned for about 3 years and still never driven as it was a full restoration project and still not finished. I have just been given the challenge to restore a Mk1 mini for my granddaughter, Colette. Just thought that I would post a few photos on here so you can all have a chuckle at what I've taken on, god help me. Any suggestions welcomed.

You really are a glutton for punishment Gary, she looks worse than the Mumford   , still, as with most things Mini, you can at least get all the panels you need off the shelf, might be worth taking out shares in Minimachine i reckon ;) i can probably help you with a passenger door if you need one later and i have plenty of glass.

Crikey! That'll keep you busy!! What year is the tax disc? My favourite bit is the bald patch on the carpet next to the throttle...
Good luck, keep us posted.

Looks like it'll be easier to list the panels you don't need! :D

Thought that I would put up a few more photos of the strip down for you. There possibly won't be a lot more work done on it this year as we are working outside but you never know if this weather holds out.

Those pics of the ventilated rear companion bins look very similar to what my Woody looked like.
With patience, that poor little Mini will once again be back on the road bringing a smile to all that drive it. 8-)
Good luck with the restoration and keep us updated with the progress.
