This is a Formula steering wheel.
Is the boss fitting for a Mini ?
This wheels are often descriped as Speedwell steering wheels, because Speedwell fitted and sold them..

The mini boss is rare...
I have 6 Formula steering wheels and two bosses only.

Kees I do strongly believe that the standard mk1 Mini horn combination should work in the Formula wheel. The carburettor is a Nikki, never seen one in the flesh, only in the books (Vizard...)

That's a good find, particularly the very early and rare lower boss. It will accept the standard mini hornpush.

Yes it is a Reece Fish carb as produced by a guy called funnily enough "Len Reece" back in the sixties. He made and marketed them from a business in London.
It was used in competition on "Mini 7 " cars as in those days they were restricted to single 1,1/2" carb and this fitted the bill. It incorporated a pump system when the throttle was actuated. They took a bit of sorting but worked well.
