Mini 1275GT Project

Slightly off topic but interest in these cars seems quite high at the moment. Thought I would share my current project with you. Owned GTs since 87, the Cooper S or Cooper at that time was out of reach and I wanted a Mini, since then I have always had one. This current project has been running a very long time, bough the donor car in 2011.

and took delivery of a new BMH shell, apologies for the poor pictures they do get better:

I purchased a brand new 1275 engine and box from Mini Spares although looking back I should have refurbed the old unit?? And stripped off what I could use from the old car which wasn't much

Not much left of the donor car ab by 2020 I decided that I needed to tidy up my workspace so I could get on with the car:

So I now have a nice tidy garage to work in:

Then the petrol head in me took over and I filled it back up again. The Mini is under cover in the left corner. TR4A is just spending the winter in the garage.
