On a 7 inch Cooper brake set up, should Minilites be drum or disc offset?

They are same offset as drum brakes, I have d1 alloys on mine and they fill arches nicely

Yes I get that the 7 inch brakes give the same track width as drums, but does that also follow that out of the two types of minilite available, should 7 inch braked cars use the drum offset wheel or the disc. I presume using the disc offset will result in the inside of the wheel running closer to the inside of the car..?

I run the rear drums without the spacer on my cars with 7 inch discs up front. I find they need a narrow spacer though if you use 165 tyres and 5 inch wheels.

S type Minilites (they identify them as "FIA" offset) will need stepped S type drums at the rear so I suppose that mandates the drum offset for a Cooper.
Even with the stepped drums some 165s (e.g. Falkens) still rub on the damper at the rear.... BTDT.
