its not just the wheel that you see vanish skywards, but the wheel, hub, disc, caliper etc!

Looking at the size of wheels and offset, I'm not surprised.

v

its got a wide track kit on it, and its running 13" compomotive motorsport wheels - so size of wheels and offset have less impact than running, say, 7" wheels on a nomal set up ;)

the fault started with a crack in the bottom balljoint, which had done nine events, rather than the normal six that they do before replacement!

im sure also landing that hard didnt help either!

Was the wheels ever found again...?

Judging by the speed it set off, I suspect that it is currently in orbit!

he actually got it back, the tyre had punctured and the wheel was bent - probably from when it hit the wall and got launched into orbit.

it went about 20 feet into the air from reports of people who where fleeing the area!

a few years ago he broke a rear radius arm and lost a wheel, kad rear disc set up etc - this vanished and was never returned, even though someone was seen lugging their prize down the road....... :(
