Ive just bought this off a friend in Portugal, just a quick build to keep me occupied..

That's class, don't see enough pickups around here.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

Progress update,
Subframes assembly’s are blasted and painted in PPG selimix satin black all parts are now here and ready to build..
S brake assembly’s rebuilt and almost ready to fit..
1310cc rebuilt engine is now fitted with a calver head on its rebuilt gearbox…
Hopefully it will be rolling with engine fitted in the next week or two..
Now just the other 20 boxes to open and find the rest of the jigsaw!

I’m unsure about wheels at the moment, thinking probably LP883’s in silver?
I have a set of rose petals spare I may try…

Did your Portuguese mate restore the shell ? Or was it a rare survivor in good nick ?

They restored it and painted it I’ll post some pictures when I sort them out..
It’s very nice and I’m happy it’s not perfect..

Picture hanging..
I’ve borrowed the moke wheels..
I’m still unsure about the yoko 145’s I may replace them with 032’s?
It may look better with some altitude adjustment when off the trolley..
