I am still digging through my old parts and can't recall where this came from, or what mini it may have come off, but looks like a sensible mod that fits to the column. Anyone else have one in situ by any chance - would love to see how it looks fitted. Needs a new strap, but otherwise in great condition

Like to see a bit more of it, unraveled Andy. The wiring, what we can see of it, doesn't look man enough to be for a headlight flasher. A wiper flasher....., washer jet..... Starter motor....... Just joking there!

Would be ok to feed a relay.

Fair point Whistler. Having said that, I was never sure that the Mk2 headlanp dip/flasher was really up to the current loading! My wife's Dolly Sprint headlamp dip/flasher (same meat, different gravy) failed twice

I think the labels say that the wires go to a relay, will have a closer look when I next get over to my workshop... more looming stuff on the cards

The Speedwell car has one, its a 2 way. Up for headlamp flasher, down for air horn.

Something else for me to check then Mark
I got over there earlier and can't read one label, but the other says to the red and white wire under the slam panel, so it must have worked directly and without a relay??? I also found the column plastic it came off, in remarkably good nick too.
