Does anybody here know what the thread pitch for the mounting
hardware on the dual (water temp-oil pressure) gauge is? It looks
like it might be 8-32 but when I check it with pitch gauge it's off a bit.
Annnnnnd, anybody know where I can pick up proper mounting nuts
for the gauge?

I'm not familiar with BA threads?????? But if that's what it takes, I need some

3BA on original 60’s/70’s gauges
M4 for later genuine gauges
[8-32 UNC maybe used on repro/non-smiths parts?]

Small 3/8” dia version is 17H932 correct for 2” gauges
Larger 1/2” dia version is 17H1304 and will also fit

but beware same part numbers were used for both thread forms…

Fairly easy to source the 3BA versions from eBay or various MG vendors

[for USA try: small and large]

I had a tough time tracking down a U.S. supplier who stocked these 3BA knurled nuts.

Moss Motors stocks both the large and small version but uses a different part number than listed in iain's post.

Larger size (17H1304) is Moss part number 361-035
Smaller size (17H932) is Moss part number 360-370
