Bonnet Badge

Hi guys,
How does the ordinary "Austin" badge attach to the bonnet of the early mk1s?
Its going for paint soon and need to drill holes if there are some. I've used a Morris bonnet so had to weld the holes up.

I thought i had a badge but for the life of me i cant find it, and everywhere seems to be out of stock.
There is one on fleabay for £200.
I thought there were 2 pins on the back of the badges that went through 2 holes in the bonnet but there are no pins on that £200 badge, am i going mad?

The chrome surround is not with that badge
It would have the mounting pegs on it
peg location would be where the cut outs are showing on the badge in the ebay listing

3 pins I think - the location is clear in this pic.

The mini spares copies don't have the depth but are pretty good. The one on ebay is NOS original and pretty rare now, hence the price I guess. The chrome surrounds are easy to get and easy to take off if you want to change the badge later.

EDIT - to say this pic shows the pins:

Courtesy to Andrew1967, i now had a badge surround.

Does anyone know what the hole positions are for the bonnet holes?

Its really just the distance i need from the bonnet lip to the bottom of the badge i should think, as getting it central left/right is easy enough.

I thought i had seen one somewhere but can't seem to find it

Remembered I had a spare Austin bonnet deep down amongst my stuff. Here are some pics with a tape measure on them, a bit wobbly as I was balancing a lot ;-)

Bottom hole appears to be one inch up on the centre line. I'd drill that one and do the tippex trick on the pins to mark the other two precisely ;-)
