Fitting rear windows into a travellers barn doors

Post by colonel mustard »

As the title states, any suggestions or guidance on how to install the windows to the rear barn doors of a traveller?
Any suggestions welcomed.
TIA

If there’s no locking strip then seal onto glass, wrap para cord into the groove and use that to ease the seal into the door.

Many thanks
Assume a two person job? One pulling the cord whilst the other is pushing from the outside?
Also use some WD40 on the job?
Thanks again

Yes, 2 person job.

Lube will certainly help - WD40, glass cleaner, KY jelly. I prefer to avoid salt based stuff like washing up liquid.

Great
Same as fitting a new rear screen to my mk1 fiesta after putting my bike handle bars through it!
Thanks again
