997 Cooper, this has the high B post mount, both had plastic screw in bungs but I would like to put something in just to be slightly safe. What options are there for new belts please.
I have old belts from Mk1's but these are for the lower B post mount type car, I'm guessing the belts differed between the two, high and low?
Ideally wish to retain a period look.
Ebay prices seem very steep and just wish to explore other options.

I have a 997 with B Post High seat belt mountings & other cars with the Low B Post Mounting .. best i know there is no difference in Seatbelts as they all adjust in length to suit the Driver .. well mine do .. Buy Cheap Belts & you will get what you pay for

Ok, thanks. I wasnt planning on skimping with the belts, I havent with the rest of the car but just wondered if there were any belts that are in keeping but made recently. Some of these belts are 50+ years old now.
