If it comes and then goes I would want to check wheel balance / buckle.

i would say that too, comes and goes at differnet speeds. wheel balancing

take its on the 59, check the wheels them self as they are reverted together!!!!!

Try (carefully!!) running the car on stands - see if the vibration is there, and also observe the wheels and driveshafts - should help you pinpoint where the issue is.

Also are the big bolts that pass through bulkhead crossmember that secure the subframe tight

I had this once years ago they felt tight but there was corrosion in the frame insert and they had to cleaned with a tap

Unlikely to be them, many mini's have driven around with burst mounts, without adverse symtoms like the one you describe.

I remember my mate came to my garage one night years ago and said jump in my car is doing the strangest thing, it was dark he parked in front of a brick wall. and proceeded to rev the engine up and down to around 3-4 thousand revs.

He said look at the headlight aim on the wall, you could see the dip beam paterrn moving up and down the wall as he revved the engine, yep every rubber mount was broken the whole subrame was flexing on the subframe tower bolts. Been like that for ages he said

locking brake
diff siezing
engine mounts
cracked floor
indicator stuck on .
