Hello to the MK1 world!!
Lady Luck kissed my cheek on New Years Eve 2017. With a neat story behind my American barn find, I feel wonderfully fortunate to have found an Mk1 1964 Austin Cooper tucked away and well preserved (for the most part). Without a proper name, my Mk1 sits in my garage until I develop more knowledge and skill with my current restoration. My uphill learning climb is progressing, but I know I will rely on the knowledge bank in forums like this one at some point with special interest towards the original details of the Mk1. Balancing my life between family, mini and job, my '82 restoration is slow, but moving. The Mk1 will certainly be the pride of my minis although each will have special qualities. I hope to learn a great deal from other MK1 folk..

Been following your youtube restoration of the Mk1. Most enjoyable and informative, especially showing the 'variation' in fit between Magnum and other manufacture panels.
