This is one I wasnt aware of .. the remote housing

Just had this one vapour blasted. It came with a 997/1071 style gear lever so the 63 date seems correct .

Another dated item I guess is you Andrew .1967 , birth year? Peter

I have a remote dated there too, but not all seem to have it.

Just like modern cars I think most things were dated, even the rear of the mirror on a 608 has a date on.

Is the remote housing painted engine color or not painted at all?

I'd say not painted, but stand to be corrected?
