Hi
What are your views on 1:7 Ratio Rockers. I already run 1:5 but I am curious as to what difference, if any, these would have.
I would think with a larger curtain area there should be more improvement. But maybe with current type cams overlap ( just talking for race applications only ) it could be detrimental in scavenging from the exhaust/ inlet more, unless timing is changed on the exhaust side?

With most decent cam profiles spring binding can become a serious issue. The loading on all the cam gear can easily become seriously excessive too. They are really designed for 10 - 10th engines that are stripped & rebuilt regularly.
