Protection (polish) for Rosepetals?

Obviously Rosepetals are finished in Satin, so how do people keep them protected? Just use normal polish or something more suited to satin paint?

Thanks

I've had a ceramic coating on all my wheels for a while now, it's fantastic - brake dust just rinses off, lasts for ages. I've got steels on the Mini, but one of the others has black satin finish wheels - the coatings work on pretty much anything.

I've used Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels, but there is similar (maybe identical) available from Gtechniq and other 'detailing' brands.

It's a bit of a faff applying it to stupid 20 inch modern wheels, but tiny Mini wheels are a breeze!

Thanks Finchy, I'll look into that.

Ah the deep dark hole that is 'detailing' (amateur or pro) , my daily was (is) ceramic coated (by me) after a multi stage polish, including the wheels (19's) the other half's new car has 22's :o and I need to get that done ASAP.

The coatings and waxes available these days are so varied, I will only use good quality wax on the Minis as they don't get the exposure to the elements so much (and for some reason I thinks wax has more of a soft glow to it) Ceramic (including the glass) for anything in use all the time followed by regular 2 bucket washes with pre-rinsing using snow foam and the odd top up with a ceramic detailer is the way to go :)
