1962 Tulip Rally
Does anyone on the forum have access to a full entry list for the 1962 Tulip Rally? as I'm trying to confirm there was an entry in it by a Ken Brierley in an Ogle SX1000. Thanks very much for anyones help with this enquiry.

I do. And it is true. I have looked for pics too, but so far to no avail.
The entry was in the name of K. Brierly-J.G. Fairer and their start number was 54. They finished 73rd out of 150 cars entered.

Re: 1962 Tulip Rally
I have been through all the Tulip records but 1962 is the only year in which it is mentioned. I also do not know of any other rally entries.
It would be terrific to find out more about it wouldn't it?

Yes it would - I think the car was chassis number MO/62/007 with registration number 100 DUV.

Re: 1962 Tulip Rally
I have seen a contemporary rally report with a picture of an Ogle on one of the major 1960's events (but pretty sure it was the Alpine) and it was in either Autocar or Motor.

Hi Simon776, it would be great to see a copy of the article, any chance you could post a scan of the article?

I don't have the magazine - just saw the picture when I was looking through the magazine one day.

Hi Simon776, that's a shame - bit of a long shot but I don't surpose you remeber any other articles that were in the same magazine to help me try to find a copy?

Re: 1962 Tulip Rally
Hi Jeroen, I have just found a couple of reports in old Autosport magazines on this rally and in the first (11/5/1962) they mention the Ogle as a late entry and the other (18/5/1962) they list it in the results as 5th in class - Class E GT 1000cc.
