Laying bare frame on it's side?

Anybody have any problems with the frame by laying it on it's
side to work on the bottom? It's a given that there is a soft
cushion surface for it to rest upon that's covered by something
that won't effect the paint.
Thanks
Kent

I've seen loads of people use a mattress to lay them on. Once in it's side, it should be fine, it's in the rolling on to and then rolling off that it's likely to get damaged. So, if you are having a group of friends help you to do this, good communication is key here.

I’ve done it heaps. I put a bunch of foam pool noodles along the sill seam and a rolled up camping mattress under the top of the B pillar.
