just putting the head back on my 1070 after a refurb and am wondering what i should set the tappets at??

am running 286 cam and standard rockers

two thou over standard rings a bell but would rather get it right!

any help much appreciated, cheers, niall.

i have always do it

0.012" for a standard cam
0.015" for a uprated cam

i was also quoted 0.015" by swiftune to set my tappets to for there cam

so you saying 0.002" over standard you were not far off

What did Kent Cams say?
