I have had messages from a number of members who have tried to reset their passwords & have failed.
This is usually down to them having at some point (usually long ago) changed their email address & not subsequently updating it in their profile on the forum.
If this happens the link sent to reset your password is never received & your account goes into limbo.
To avoid this happening, BEFORE you attempt to change your password, please ensure that the email address in your user profile is the one you are currently using.
You can check & edit this by using the link in the top right hand corner of the screen bearing your username. Click that, then click "User Control Panel".
Also, when contacting me with a technical issue. Please bear in mind that I can't do anything without either your user name or registered email address. please ensure you always quote one or the other when contacting me with a technical issue.
