Yorkshire Motorsport Festival 2021

The first Yorkshire Motorsport Festival takes place June 25th-27th at Holmfirth and I’m working with them to celebrate 60 years of the Mini Cooper so if anyone fancies a grand day out (weekend!) there will be space allocated for a gathering (as per Chateau Impney last year) plus a display of Coopers in the arena. Quite a few Minis on the Hillclimb course as well with a few drivers on the forum! Special guests also to be announced, really shaping up to be a cracking event!

Adam & I were booked in for this last year, so automatically have places for 2021 if that happens. It really looks like it could be a superb event & I hope that forum members who can, do support it.
To have a really great display of Minis would be great for us & great for this new event.
Hopefully I'll be able to bring my Speedwell car as well as the Hillclimber.

Hopefully we'll be allowed to travel again and I might even have the Inno running... Would love to visit Yorkshire again, been too long since I've been 'home'.

Just a couple of updates. There will be an open Mini class with about twelve cars competing on the Hillclimb , a Mini Cooper display for celebrate the 60th birthday and club displays. Any forum members can bring their cars along for the day or the weekend. Hillclimb entries are almost full already but any interesting cars will always be considered! Camping derails to follow.

So am I Frank, be great to have an event of this scale ooop North for a change.
I’ve clearly not learned from last year’s debacle
because I’m also talking to Shelsley Walsh about a big Mini bash there next year in July aswell which is looking VERY promising, very much like I did with them in 2013 where we crowbarred 22 Minis onto the entry list and got the Goodliff Vita Minisprint, Trev’s Vita Mini etc .
If anyone here s interested please let me know if you’d like to get involved with these events.
, But its my grandaughter's birthday on the 20th November and she will be devistated ,she has only been on the countdown since last Xmas , Every week she has been saying " it's X amount of day's to my birthday "
