Hydrolastic Hoses
Hydrolastic displacers, do the units themselves tend to last? or is it just the hoses that seem to fail? I believe I heard the Fred at Nippycars was going to make some original pattern ones - anyone heard this?

Re: Hydrolastic Hoses
For my Landcrabs I had a local industrial hydraulic shop make hoses. I cut off the spigot on the displacer and drilled a hole and tapped it for a threaded spigot, there was enough meat for 3 or 4 threads. Where it joins to hyrdrospastic system the fittings available here in NA fit fine. They used 5000 psi hydraulic hose which was never going to fail. The hose and various fittings cost around CA$100.
