I’ve recently been reading “Nineteen to the Dozen” by Eddie Green, a contemporary record of the 1969 Motoring News championship (well worth searching out if you’re into MN/road rallying, by the way).

As this happened to coincide with the Works History section being added, a particular car caught my eye - RJB326F, driven by Phil Cooper/John Brown on the Castrol Express and Star ’69. With RJB327F being listed in the archive, but not 326, I thought for a minute I’d discovered an unknown Works car!

A little googling explained all though - built by the Works but sold unused:

The picture - and the snippet of history that it was used on an MN round in ’69 - might be of interest though:

Sorry, I don't understand the above. Was it built as OBL but sold as RJB?

I'm no Works expert & hope that someone else can clarify the situation.

Ah Ha! I get you now :)

Please feel free to start an new thread on any cars that are missing from the list.

I transferred all info over, but am by no means an expert on the works cars. It fact I am a complete dunce !!!

It was works built but not works entered. It’s pictured in colour in that line up of rear ends outside Abingdon. Phil did very well with it on the ‘68 RAC!
