1960 interior light quicky

I have searched on this one, but failed!
The old headlining that came with my 1960 project does not seem to ever have had a light.
So, did the 1960 cars have a roof light?
If so which sort, and where?

My 1960 Austin doesn't have one..only companion box and speedo pod lights.

When you say companion box, is that at the bottom of the door or side of the back seat?
