Acropolis May 68. Aaltonen/Liddon. Group 2. 5th O/A.

Recce use? The only further rallies done in 68 that required recce. cars were 1000 Lakes and TAP.
Disposal of old rally car without reg. no. to ?

Brands 6 Hrs. June 69. Handley/Enever. 4th O/A. Clearly a new race car!

Nurburgring 6 Hrs. July 69. Handley/Enever. Retd.

Spa 24 Hrs. July 69. Handley/Enever. Group 5. Retd.
Was this a new “long distance” car or the “long distance” car from Nurburgring very quickly re-prepared?

Sold to J. Whitehouse (Arden).

Nice photograph of Dermott Simpson who now owns RBL 450F and Robert Dickson who restored it at our local show. Dermott also owns ORX 777F and both cars are very well restored

So, if I understand well, the Spice s 'Arden race car has been restore as a rally car, the first RBL 450 F? Or the restored car is the first one, the Acropolis car?

Pluto, I understand it is the Aeropolis Greece rally car Robert and Dermott restored

Dermot Carnegie from Dublin bought the car from Jim. The Arden Engine ended up in one of Alec Poole ex Hornets. Carnegie sold it to Simpson and they restored it as it is now.
