Acropolis May 66. Hopkirk/Crellin. Gp2. 3rd (after penalties dropped from 1st).
German Jul 66. Hopkirk/Nash. Retd – engine.
Coupe des Alpes 66 Sep 66. Gp2. Retd – transmission.
Shenstone Nov 66 (MN Championship round, Clerk of the Course Ron Crellin). Hopkirk/Harper. 1st.
Described as “Hopkirks Alpine car” borrowed for the event. 1st prize was a “Paddy Hopkirk” rally jacket...
RAC Nov 67 (cancelled). Makinen/Easter. New Gp6 8port fuel injection car.
Used on the “rallysprint”, run for TV on what was to have been the first stage.
Scottish Jun 67. Ytterbring/Persson. 2nd.
Both Browning and Price list this car/crew/result on the 67 Scottish but Robson has a photo of Ytterbring in his own Swedish registered car, No.10, captioned as second in 66 to R.Clark's Lotus Cortina. Clark won from Ytterbring in 67 (turning the new Mk2 Cortina Lotus into a banana in the process). Fall won in 66 in DJB93B. Price does not list a registration number for Fall on the 67 Scottish (Retd) but Browning shows it as GRX5D in his event lists but not in his car lists.
Was Fall in GRX311D on the 67 Scottish - with Ytterbring in his own car (but under the BMC service umbrella)?
Coupe des Alpes Sep 67. Makinen/Easter. Gp6. Retd – engine. (Was actually LRX829E).
Recce use?
Circuit of Ireland Apr 69. Hopkirk/Nash. Gp6. 2nd. (the new ultra lightweight de-seamed car, on splits).
Sold to W. Cresdee (who is described variously as “Bill” or “Denis”).
