CRX 90 B
by worksminis » 22 Apr 2017, 13:11
Said to be the first hydrolastic works car.
RAC Nov 64. Hopkirk/Liddon. Retd.
Monte Carlo 65. Morley/Morley. 27th.
Munich-Vienna-Budapest ("Three Cities") Oct 65. Halliwell/Wood. Crashed. This was one of two entries on the rally that were loaned works cars in support of Aaltonen under the event's "class improvement" and "no service" regulations. Crew injured. See 569FMO.
Sold to Paul Easter (Who entered his own car on M-V-B at Turner's request to carry spares for Aaltonen - so "sold" for how much may be debateable).

Paddy " Can you hear me now"
Henry " Yes, but the sound is distorted,"
Paddy "Ok. If in doubt - you know you need hands to communicate."
Henry "OK - middle finger = straight on. Left thumb = left (4 fingers = HP left) etc etc
Henry "that's if I'm not operating the wipers with string!
