Hi guys, just thought I would share my best moment in a mini yet! I was allowed to drive a 970s the other day, it was one of my mates dad's cars, beautiful car! I sadly didnt get it past 4000 revs as it was only a short journey and it was cold, however coming from my mk1 to that was quite something!

The 970 is certainly the quirkiest of all tyhe early Coopers. It sounds like it made a lasting impression, to be honest, I'm not surprised that it did.
