Unipower need for help

Post by AaltonenMini2011 »

Dear friends of Minis
As an owner of a Mini Cooper 1275S Works Rally Replica, driven by Mr. Rauno Aaltonen in the Rally Monte Carlo Historique 2011 and owner of some other nice, manly British things, I want to fill my heart with an Unipower.
So if someone knows someone who is willing to sell one, it would be great if you could give me a hint.
Thanks in advance,
Klaus

Sold that many months ago.

Two sold recently, plus mine, after a bit of a drought, typical! Like waiting for a bus! There’s been one put up for sale in Japan which was hugely overpriced and another which was a project in very poor condition in Hong Kong for an equally eye watering price. One or two will pop up for sale about every couple of years, sometimes a lot longer.

As Pete has said they do come up every now and then and understand that has been a flood on the market recently - 3!
took me 18 years to secure mine, been nearly that long to get the rebuild properly started.
Best of luck looking and if you do find one please share the details on here and the facebook pages.
Cheers
Gary
