He picked it up back in the 90s when living in Singapore and traveling the entire region regularly. It was a heap at the time and he finished most of the restoration while there and picked up the 1275 NOS for it. Somehow it never quite made the final steps and mostly traveled back here in pieces. His best friend got it from my step-mother after he passed ans has finally gotten it all put together and ready to hit the road again. Mostly just needed the engine rebuilt, source a few bits and put it all together.

Just waiting on the wiring harness. Supposed to be ready the first week of April, but we will see.

It is a 72 or 73, we're pretty sure. Even with the logbook things are a bit unclear. Australian but spent most of its life in New Zealand.

Should know definitively in a few weeks! If we’re not all dead from Coronavirus or cabin fever :)

Looks great Zach. Maybe we can try to get Alex to join Steve's fall cruise?

[I might even have my S block built up and installed by then...]

I’ve tried. But Alex runs the Triumph club and their cruises have usually overlapped. But with that I’m really going to try and get him to come. Can’t wait to drive it asap!
