Existing hydro lines

I have a set of hydro lines that came off the car circa 12years ago, they look in reasonable condition externally but do show signs of external pitting. The question would be:
1/ keep, send off to be dipped and stripped and coat up in a grease or silicon to stop and future rusting
Or
2/ buy new ones from minispares?
I would to keep the existing if possible as I know these fit but will dipping these be ok?

Also, another question!
Run kunifer brake lines to the underside of the car and where visible change to steel lines so it looks right?
Thanks all

I have used the jaguar brake steel pipes so far - I think they are a mix with kunifer internals as they flare quite easily??

I personally wouldn't dip the hydro pipes but just work on the outside with rust remover, maybe a section at a time - then get them pressure tested before making a decision - or do that first of course?
