Mk1 Wiper Wheel Box Cup Washer Q

i seem to remember that located under the Mk1 Wiper Wheel Box Retaining Nut there was a "Stainless Cup Washer" that squashed up onto that odd angle tube rubber that covered / positioned the wiper box thread ? .. in other words the wiper box securing nut did not just contact that wiper box securing rubber .. looking at MS / Somerford drawings no Cup Washers are not shown or listed .. i seem to remember these cup washers were used to position & stop the Rubber sleeve splitting when the Wheel Box Chrome Nut gets over torqued .
Any suggestions ?

Not heard of or seen that item before Norman :?

I've checked the parts manual AKD3509 and nothing like that is shown.

I can 100% recall the washers you mean. Yellowy stainless flimsy things.
Haven’t seen any for years now though
