Ashtray support bracket deletion

Does anyone know when the ashtray support bracket found in the rear companion bins was deleted? I'm thinking 1972 or 73?

From what we seen over here, we think November / December 1971, deletion when steering locks appeared.

Was it not when they introduced inertia reel seat belts as standard and fitted them in the rear companion boxes? I thought those came in with the rod change boxes in ‘74.

My November 72 round tunnel mk3 1000 still has them. As above, I think they were dropped when the square tunnel rod change came in.
