Hi ,
In the process of rewiring the car (60 mini seven) and just wondered if anyone had gone for a 4 fuse fuse box instead of the original 2 fuse. Not too bothered about originality . Or, should i stick with a new original type ?

I fitted both to the Hornet - the original 2-fuse is power distribution (both fused and unfused), and the 4-fuse box is for sub-circuits.

Consider your Wire Harness .. you will see the original harness is so arranged to fit the 2 Fuse type box .. if you fit the 4 Fuse Box there will be needed changes to your harness to enable it to fit well.. i just fitted the original 2 Fuse Box that coupled up to an Autosparks new harness as an easy job and then i fitted a genuine Lucas 4 Fuse Box in addition & that will supply the extra services that i am installing.
Another option to consider is to add inline fuse(s) if you need extra fuse capability .. juts remember where you hide the inline fuse
