1969 Mull Rally

Just come accross this on the Mull website, look at the Minis, any still alive ??, wonder which car Cowan used, mind you NS woud prob mean Non start

you may need a magnifying glass :lol: :lol:

One Cooper S I recognise, LDM 986D car no 35 driven by Len Evans from Rhyl, North Wales. About 15 -20 years ago I met Dave Evans (now passed away) from Holywell, North Wales who owned the car. If I remember correctly he said that it had been an Abingdon build car for a privateer entry on the Monte Carlo Rally.

I've still got the wheels and Rally Specials I bought off Geoff Wright (car no 38) in 1969 :oops:
