Can someone help?

I finally got round to putting the sill on our Mk1 998 Cooper, it's been on the axle stands since 1994. However I realise I don't know how the jigsaw of small pressed metal bits I have go together. The first picture shows the components the second and third pictures of how I assume they go together. I assume the quarter circle segment forms a double skin with the outer sill.

Have I got it right?

Just in case you are wondering, yes I'm going to deal with the rust before I fire up the mig.

Thanks in anticipation regards

Nearly right. The long stiffener / closer sits on top of the wheel arch closers.
It's easy to get confused with these little repair sections.
Take a look at Mhuffy the Traveller, page 3 which should help. Ignore the long closer which is a different shape to a saloon.

As the car is only supported on 1 axle stand, the 3 people in wellies must be really tired by now?? :D :D

your rusty curve and square bit can be bought as a one part item with the correct 'bump' pressed into it to clear the subframe support pin, they are so cheap its worth buying one as it will help set the bottom edge of the rear qtr - you may find that your rusty curve hits the pin when its in the correct place for the outer skin

I agree with Guru, you'd be best off using the one piece panel, its alot easier to line everything up.

They go like this....
