Tachometer installation

Managed to find a Smiths RVI 1003/00 but I'm not sure if it works. From what I've read it looks like this type has to have the "wire loop" at the back. I'm however not sure the right attachment is with the gauge to create the loop. I've attached pics. Can anyone give me some pointers?

Looks like you're missing the nylon block and metal clamp plate, these pictures might help.

Anyone got an extra pair of these bits or have an idea where I can find them?
I'll ask "the gauge shop" as well.
