Took a trip out on Sunday with Niall and Dave, who organise the Northumberland and Borders Rally ( https://en-gb.facebook.com/Northumberla ... 404194573/ ), and took a few snaps and shot some video. We were based on one of the tests at Catterick with Niall and Dave manning the finnish clock. SMOKE GREY was running 6 EMO as car 0, testing out as set of Blockleys. They looked OK when he pulled up, but seam a bit screachy compared with others when on the move. Check out the video to see what you think.

There was plenty of variety in the field with an expected 10 Minis coming through, however GrahamC didn't get to us on the first run. We heard he had head gasket problems put an end to his day early on.

Turns out my misfortune was a bit worse than a head gasket - crack/hole in the inlet port to 3 & 4 through to water jacket

No worries on the pics.

Sounds like you need to sack your engine builder.

Thanks for these, and the video, we were in car46 the orange clubman and had a good day. Hopefully manage to get organised for an entry into the borders rally this year as well. Been trying to do it for the last 3 years!

Yeah I wish we were out on the Berwick classic but it clashes with the other half/navs horse events. Hoping we can get out on the white rose at malton and the st Wilfred's. Have to see as I race bikes as well so that kind of takes priority in the summer months

Marshalling on the Berwick Saturday before heading down to Blyton. Will try to get across to the White Rose and St. Wilfreds too
