Hello.
Your build sounds interesting....
How about a 22G1128 full straight cut with a pudding stirrer attached!!!! :shock:
Would look very stock but add a little interest on track days..... :lol:

Have you tried contacting this guy: http://www.guess-works.com/
He built a gearbox for such a conversion that a guy 'the mad scotsman' round here has in his previously Spi'd mini, and it has worked fine, and thats a rodchange.

What doesn't work so good is getting that engine in under a standard bonnet,
must be even worse in a chopped down sprinted shell.
Maybe a auto subframe can help in lowering the engine.

I think JR had a 1128 sc box for sale..
I’ve just built a 333 with a magic wand style conversion.

If you're going so far from standard anyway I'd go rod change.

Late model rod change with - big - idler gear (bearings).

The Strongest Cases they did were the DAM5262.

Stay away from any other DAM series case, as they were the weakest.
