Some very interesting pics there!

On a similar note, would anyone be interested in having available scans of all the Racing Car Show catalogues from 1959 to 1970. I have them all & they do make interesting reading.

Would love to see those Mark if you can get them on here. I have the '67 one knocking about somewhere (unless the missus had chucked it on ebay without telling me!).

Item 9, re-Martin V-8

This refers to Ted Martin a developer of racing engines, back in the 1960's. His workshops were situated behind the Alexander Engineering premises.
Ted Martin was a very clever engineer/engine builder, he had a chequed, but very interesting career, it's worth having a look at his background on Google.
The last I heard, Ted was indulginging in his other passion, building steam engines
