A new shell was sourced and the car rebuilt using the original components as far as possible

In real terms it is a replica and in fairness that is made clear from the above remark. At least being a replica or not, Barrie did drive this car after it was built which adds some Whizzo DNA to it is my thinking about this car.

I also hope it makes good money for the family if they still own it :)

A mini finishing a Welsh stage event was an achievement anyway and didn't the works team destruction test the number plates in Wales? :D

I gather it is still tied up in Probate, no doubt something will become public in the future.

I'm locking this thread for now. Barrie was a good friend to our Blyton event & chewing over his estate just doesn't seem right to me.
