Thinking about trying to replicate one of these for the misses. She complains about knocking elbows and knees on the door pocket. If anyone has some good pictures or further details it would be much appreciated. Cheers

I recon a bit of pipe lagging might be a goo starting point - it worked well on our BMX bikes.....

One of the lads in my local club bought some ready made ones at the Longbridge IMM and very nice they were too.
The backing was lumber of some sort with padding and red (in this case) vinyl wrapped around it. They were well made, but a bit pricey.
As suggested by Pandora, pipe insulation does a good job and come in all sizes with a choice of some colours.

Hi Daniel,

You might find some pictures in Brian Moylan's book : Anatomy of the Works Minis, for example, p. 21-22.
Well known pictures of works cars, neither close-ups nor drawings, but give some ideas and printed larger than usual in Mini books.

Hope this might help you,
regards,
Etienne

Looks good. Good photos too. Need to try and get up close to a works car although I am sure I can make an aproximation from what I've seen so far. Cheers.
