5 years ago I refurbished my 66 Moke With ALOT of metal replacement + 100% restoration to my own personal tastes.
998 Engine + Dark Blue (Barrents Blue Metallic paint- a Land rover colour) this moke has been 100% awesome fun. Road trips= town trips everything to everywhere...
Before =

Lead to this final moke in about 10 Months.
I put on a CHEAP paint job so its not perfect + takes wear and tear well = either way its mine and fun!

And now onto the next!

Always on the lookout ! cars come and go... well this popped up in a Estate sale. also posted ona US forum as hey this car is out there. Was listed with a buy it now price.
After the estate sale = I simply inquired= Moke did not sell. and we then talked turkey about $$ and situation.. A deal was struck.
Just delviered to me yesterday after a 1100 Mile trailer journey. Purchsed un inspected just delviered.

Initial overview it arrived how i expected / or even better.
It has had a 'overspray paint job 100% = but mechanically it hasnt been touched. The front fender is 'wrinkly= that was an accident that probably prompted the paint job.
Upon my first hours with it = last inspection sticker on car 1980. Seller advised last known running 2013

Only REal thru rust is the battery box = its needless to say = gone.

Came with Original tool kit in side bin (un opened probably forever)

Fuel tank is spotless but with 2 inches of BAD Gasoline!

and overall = its only going to need MINOR Work to be driving again!
Tyres + rubber parts + Cylnders all for a refresh and another moke will be going again!.
Hopefully by sprintime!
I do have a few other projects in the way == Like replacing the 850 in also my pickup truck with a nice 998!

YES i have a LBC (Little British car problem)
= and a turbo build for my 63'.... oh its the truth when its written out!
More updates to come as progress is made! too much time at ACTUAL work to make fast car progress, but it will come in time!
